About the Role
As a QA Tester at QuickBlox , you’ll play a key role in maintaining the quality and stability of our SDKs, APIs, and web applications. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and designers to test new features, identify issues, and ensure seamless releases.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that involves working across multiple products and projects — including Q-Consultation , SmartChat Assistant , QuickBlox SDKs , sample apps , custom client development projects , and both client-side and backend features . You’ll also be involved in PBMs testing , requiring you to comfortably switch between multiple tasks and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and SDK-based applications.
- Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes before release.
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and reports.
- Conduct regression, smoke, and sanity testing across environments.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce and document issues clearly.
- Test REST APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger .
- Verify compatibility across platforms, browsers, and devices.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and testing standards.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in software QA (manual testing).Experience testing APIs, SDKs, or SaaS platforms.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.Familiarity with tools such as Jira , TestRail , and Postman .Excellent written and spoken English — clear communication with global team members is essential.High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a structured approach to testing.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, distributed environment.Nice to Have
Experience testing real-time communication apps (chat, video, WebRTC).Knowledge of HIPAA compliance or healthcare software testing.Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).Familiarity with mobile SDK testing (iOS, Android).Why Join QuickBlox
