As a Partnerships & Business Development Intern , you’ll play a key role in driving our merchant acquisition and strategic partnership initiatives for our consumer lending business. Working closely with the founding team, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how fintech partnerships are identified, built, and scaled. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of business development while contributing to the growth of a fast-paced fintech startup.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Researching and mapping potential merchants, categories, and geographies for partnerships
- Assisting in outreach, onboarding, and relationship management of merchants for our lending solutions
- Supporting negotiations, documentation, and process coordination for new collaborations
- Coordinating with product and tech teams to enable smooth integration and merchant training
- Tracking and analyzing performance metrics to report on partnership and acquisition progress
- Staying updated on industry trends across BNPL, credit, and consumer lending
Who You Are
Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldStrong interest in fintech, digital lending, and payments ecosystemsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a “get-things-done” mindsetComfortable with research, data analysis, and tools like MS Excel / Google SheetsA self-starter eager to learn, adapt, and take ownership of projectsWhat We Offer
