Job Description –  Data Analyst

Location :  Chennai, India ( WFO )

Note : Candidate should be comfortable to work for US Shifts / Night Shifts

Role Overview

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and SSRS.

Create complex calculations using Tableau's calculated fields and SSRS expressions.

Build efficient data models and ensure optimal performance of visualizations.

Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts for data integration and governance.

Implement security protocols including Row-Level Security (RLS) in Tableau and SSRS.

Manage report scheduling, subscriptions, and deployments.

Provide ongoing support for ad-hoc reporting and dashboard requests raised via ServiceNow tickets.

Analyze and respond to ServiceNow tickets related to report creation, modification, and troubleshooting.

Prioritize and resolve client-specific requests within defined SLAs.

Maintain documentation of ticket resolutions and change history for audit and compliance.

Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.

Ensure high responsiveness and quality in handling dynamic, short-turnaround tasks.

Provide support and training to business users on report usage and interpretation.

Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and data security standards.

Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data visualization and reporting.

Eligibility Criteria :

(Skill set required to do the job- Knowledge, Tools, Technical Knowledge, Certifications etc.)

Super-user level proficiency in T-SQL :

Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex stored procedures, views, and queries.

Deep understanding of indexing, query performance tuning, and transactional logic.

Experience with large-scale data sets and financial data modelling.

Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and SSRS.

Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.

Experience with financial data and reporting in banking or credit union environments.

Hands-on experience with Tableau Prep, SSRS Report Builder.

Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.

Experience working with distributed or offshore teams.

Experience in managing and resolving ServiceNow tickets related to BI reporting tasks.
