Job description

We have a new urgent GCP Data Engineer opportunity open to support a migration initiative from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery). This role requires a hands-on developer who can collaborate closely with our data and reporting teams to ensure smooth repointing and validation of Power BI reports.

Request Details :

  • Title : GCP Data Engineer
  • Seniority : Mid to Senior (5–10 years’ experience)
  • Required Tech Stack : GCP – BigQuery, Cloud Storage
  • Database / Tools : Teradata, SQL, Power BI (report connectivity)
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Soft Skills : Fluent English to work directly on an international team
  • Overlap : Standard daily overlap with EST
  • Work Model : 100% Remote

Job Description :

  • Support the migration of reporting data sources from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery) .
  • Repoint and validate existing Power BI reports to new BigQuery data models.
  • Design and develop new tables, views, and queries in BigQuery to support migrated reports.
  • Conduct QA validation to ensure data accuracy and performance parity post-migration.
  • Collaborate with the BI and infrastructure teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure seamless integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to query performance, permissions, or connectivity.
