Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced and inspiring Technical Manager with over 11 years of total experience, including at least 6 years in a similar leadership role. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader for a dynamic R&D team, possessing a strong "Product & Customer" mindset.
You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from initial design and technical specification to ensuring code quality, process integration, and overall delivery performance. This is a critical role for someone who can mentor teams, guide architectural decisions, and proactively resolve technical Responsibilities and Team Management :
- Lead and coordinate a diverse R&D team with an empathetic and fair, yet demanding, management style.
- Foster collaboration between different departments and guide the team in making sound architectural choices.
- Ensure operational excellence by actively promoting and advocating for best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and Oversight and Problem-Solving :
- Proactively anticipate and address technical challenges to minimize disruptions to the development process.
- Actively participate in resolving complex technical issues and challenges, including escalated client implementation and production issues.
- Make informed decisions on technical trade-offs and effectively communicate them to the team and and Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Collaborate closely with Product Management teams to design and develop new business modules.
- Stay on top of critical client and implementation issues, keeping all stakeholders Skills & Qualifications Experience :
- 11+ years of total experience in software development.
- 6+ years of experience in a similar technical leadership or management Proficiency :
- Strong proficiency with Java 17, Spring ecosystem (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security), RESTful web services, and Hibernate.
- Experience with RDBMS and frontend technologies like Angular.
- Extensive experience with CI / CD pipelines and development tools, along with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps technologies, including Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- A deep understanding of cloud technologies on at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Attributes :
- Proven leadership skills with a strong focus on people management and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving Skills :
- Experience in product development is highly preferred.
- Domain experience in the Fintech or lending sectors.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
