About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head our Equities division. The role demands proven expertise in equity markets, portfolio management, team leadership, and regulatory compliance. The Head of Equities will play a pivotal role in driving profitability, managing risk, and maximizing return on capital employed while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the business strategy for the Equities division.
• Manage daily operations of equity trading, research, and investment teams.
• Ensure adherence to SEBI and other regulatory requirements in equity operations.
• Build and maintain strong client and institutional relationships.
• Inspire, motivate, and lead the equities team to deliver superior results.
• Drive innovation in research methodologies, portfolio strategies, and market approaches.
• Interpret, analyze, and present sales, trading, and financial performance data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective marketing and product positioning strategies.
• Maintain profitability and maximize return on capital employed (ROCE).
• Address complex and diverse managerial problems with strategic solutions.
