Client Data Integration Specialist

FactSet Client Data Integration (CDI) is a team of client facing specialists focused on the process and development cycle surrounding the on-boarding of client financial data onto FactSet s systems. The ability for prospective and existing clients to view, analyze, and benchmark their own proprietary data is a key differentiator for FactSet, and relies on the timeliness and accuracy of portfolio data and other data sets.

Specialists are expected to lead the data implementation process, working closely with our clients, sales, specialists, and any third parties involved in the data extraction and upload. Management of the data integration process from start to finish is the primary mandate of this team. This includes identifying data requirements for financial instruments, extracting data from accounting systems, designing and building the solution to load data, and validating the data to ensure accuracy on FactSet s systems.

In addition to working directly with clients, custodians, and FactSet specialists on a universe of asset classes, there will be broad exposure to FactSet business practices, products, and infrastructure. This provides many opportunities to further develop technical and financial asset knowledge, as well as contribute to product design both internal and external to this team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary resource for the implementation process of client portfolio data
• Partner with technical and financial client contacts, as well as FactSet Analytics Specialists to translate the client s investment universe and reporting requirements into data specifications
• Ensure client data is complete and accurate while improving quality and addressing data integrity issues
• Become familiar with third-party accounting systems, order management systems, custodians, and other platforms / vendors that make up our clients technology landscape
• Oversee and improve existing data integration processes between clients and FactSet
• Occasionally travel to client sites during major implementations
