Role Overview

We are seeking a Site Civil Engineer to oversee the execution of retail outlet projects. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site monitoring, ensuring quality and safety standards, coordinating with clients and vendors, and managing labour, billing, and quantity surveys. This role demands a proactive professional with strong project management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Site Monitoring : Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at retail outlet sites.

Labour Management : Oversee labour deployment, productivity, and ensure safe working practices.

Quantity Surveying & Billing : Carry out quantity estimation, verification of contractor / vendor bills, and preparation of measurements.

Client Coordination : Act as the point of contact for clients to ensure smooth communication and timely updates.

Vendor Management : Liaise with vendors, track material supply, and ensure timely delivery of resources.

Quality & Compliance : Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety norms.

Progress Reporting : Maintain daily site reports, monitor project timelines, and escalate issues where required.

Requirements

Bachelor's / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

2–4 years of experience in site execution, preferably in retail or commercial fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, quantity surveying, and billing processes.

Excellent communication and coordination skills for client / vendor interactions.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and handle pressure at fast-paced sites.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and project reporting tools.
