Title : Splunk Monitoring Engineer (12-Month Contract, Remote – EST Hours)

About the Role :
One of our U.S.-based clients is looking for an experienced Splunk Monitoring Engineer to join their global technology team on a 12-month remote contract. The ideal candidate will be located in India and must be able to work U.S. Eastern Time (EST) hours. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-scale monitoring, observability, and incident management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage monitoring solutions using Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Observability Cloud.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports for real-time visibility and performance tracking.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with monitoring tools to streamline incident response and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Continuously enhance monitoring strategies, KPIs, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in incident response processes, providing visibility and analysis during critical production events.
Core Technologies & Skills Hard Skills :
Splunk Monitoring (required) : Advanced knowledge of configuration, dashboards, alerting, and log analysis.Splunk Observability Cloud (required) : Hands-on experience with metrics, traces, and real-time service monitoring.ServiceNow ITOM (required) : Strong background in implementation, configuration, and integration for event and operations management.SolarWinds (nice to have) : Experience with network and infrastructure monitoring is a plus.Soft Skills :
