Roles & Responsibilities
Infrastructure & System Administration :
- Deploy, manage, and optimize EC2 instances across dev, test, and production environments.
- Perform system administration and troubleshooting for Linux and Windows virtual machines.
- Ensure scalability and performance tuning of cloud resources.
Security & Access Control :
Design and manage IAM roles, policies, and permission boundaries for secure access.Configure and secure Amazon S3 buckets with encryption, versioning, lifecycle rules, and bucket policies.Manage secure access to infrastructure using StrongDM , including role-based access and audit logging.Automation & Patch Management :
Implement patching strategies using AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager.Use AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for automation, compliance, and remote VM operations.Serverless & Event-Driven Architecture
Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions for cloud automation tasks.Build event-driven workflows using Amazon EventBridge to respond to system events.Monitoring & Alerts
Set up and manage SNS notifications for system alerts and service events.Monitor system and application health using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.Documentation & Collaboration
Create and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and environment diagrams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud initiatives and incident response.Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator (or equivalent).Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.- Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Exposure to Azure or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.Location : Remote (WFH)
