Senior Specialist - Payroll

Responsibilities

 Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll.

 Maintain precise and up-to-date employee payroll records.

 Collaborate with GCC wider Payroll team to support varying bandwidth.

 Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

 Analyse and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and effectively.

 Respond to employee payroll-related queries and requests in a timely manner.

 Process final settlements accurately and within stipulated timelines.

 Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Social Security, Income Tax, Gratuity, and other statutory regulations across Asian jurisdictions.

 Demonstrate robust knowledge related to Middle East jurisdictions.

 Exhibit strong understanding of payroll journals and general ledger accounting principles.

 Apply knowledge of payroll accruals and related financial requirements.

 Provide effective support for month-end closing activities.

 Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide training to new team members on payroll processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

 Proven track record of managing end-to-end process transitions from onshore to offshore.

 Graduate / post-graduate preferrable in Commerce, Accounting or Business Administration.

 Minimum 6 yrs of experience in a similar role.

 Candidates with experience in payroll operations across Asian countries will be given preference.

 Experience and certification in Six Sigma will be an added advantage.

 Strong analytical and MIS skills.

Qualifications

 MS Office especially good in MS Excel.

 Excellent Communication
