DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Strategy & Planning : Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, forecast material needs, and align procurement with company objectives.
- Supplier Management : Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with new and existing suppliers; negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.
- Procurement & Inventory : Oversee the entire procurement process, manage inventory levels, and coordinate material distribution and logistics.
- Cost & Quality Control : Analyze market trends, implement cost-saving initiatives, and ensure all sourced materials meet quality specifications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with Designer, Operations, finance, Production, Vendor, and management to forecast needs, resolve issues, and support new product development.
- New Product Development : R&D is mandatory in the competitive brand strategy and develop new line / product through designers
- Competitor Analysis : To understand the product gap if any compared to similar brands & focus on what's trending in market
- Process Improvement : Identify and implement lean / Six Sigma projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the supply chain.
- Reporting & Compliance : Maintain detailed procurement records, budgets, and ensure adherence to safety / regulatory standards.

Relevant experience of 8 to 10 yrs in Fashion MerchandisingSourcing & Vendor ManagementMaterial Planning & Production experienceEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field, such as Marketing / Textile / Garment technology.A Master's degree in a related filed will be an added advantage.Skills Required
