We are looking for a test engineer to join the Perforce QAC team. Your main focus is on functional testing of the Perforce QAC Static Analysis tool. This includes new feature testing, regression testing, production defects verification, and updating test cases for the analysis engines within Perforce QAC, management portals, and various other plugins within the Perforce QAC ecosystem.
With its depth and accuracy of analysis, Perforce QAC has been the preferred static code analyzer in tightly regulated and safety-critical industries that need to meet rigorous compliance requirements. Often, this involves verifying compliance with coding standards such as MISRA and AUTOSAR and functional safety standards, such as ISO 26262 Trust Perforce QAC as the best static code analyzer for C and C++.
Responsibilities :
- Apply a broad range of testing principles across manual and automated scenarios.
- Plan, design, and implement test cases and automation scripts for new and updated features.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for test automation.
- Build and manage Jenkins pipelines for multi-platform testing.
- Set up and maintain multiple testing environments, including containerized systems.
- Collaborate within a scrum team, providing timely quality feedback.
- Ensure product documentation is accurate and complete.
- Track tasks and report defects using Jira.
Requirements :
4 - 6 years of QA / SDET experience.Proven expertise in automated testing and strong proficiency in Python.Hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar CI tools.Strong understanding of testing principles, ideally with ISTQB certification or training.Proficiency in multi-platform testing and environment setup.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong written and spoken English, comfortable collaborating across time zones.Desirable Skills :
Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS scripting.Good understanding of C and C++.Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio, Git, Selenium, Docker, and Qt testing tools.Familiarity with Squish testing tools and methodologies.Experience with static analysis, compilers, or toolchains (nice to have).(ref : hirist.tech)
