Senior Procurement Engineer - Satellite / Space

Astrome Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer specializing in Satellite and Space systems to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the procurement process for satellite components, systems, and services, ensuring that our projects are well-supported with high-quality materials and services delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for satellite and space components, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project requirements.
• Identify and establish relationships with suppliers globally, focusing on high-quality, reliable vendors for satellite hardware and systems.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, optimizing value while ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies relevant to satellite and space procurement.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and logistics teams to forecast demand and fulfill procurement needs effectively.
• Oversee the entire procurement process, from purchase order issuance through delivery, ensuring timely and efficient fulfillment.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to resolve any issues, ensuring quality standards are met and maintained.
• Lead initiatives for cost reduction and supplier performance improvement in satellite procurement.
