Job descriptionLead end-to-end migration of 20+ enterprise web mapping applications from JavaScript API 3.x to ESRI JavaScript API 4.x , ensuring functional equivalency with Geocortex Essentials 4.15 . ESRI JavaScript API 4.x – Expert (4.15+ preferred) VertiGIS Studio – Extensive hands-on workflow development Geocortex Essentials 4.15 – Deep architecture & functionality knowledge ArcGIS Enterprise – Server configuration & deployment Utility Network (UN) – Migration experience required Geometric Network – Legacy system understanding JavaScript / TypeScript (ES6+, modern frameworks) – Advanced HTML5 / CSS3 – Responsive development expert C# / .NET Framework – Web services, custom modules, handlers SQL Server – Database design, stored procedures, optimization SOAP / REST Web Services – Development & integration Geocortex Workflow (GWF4) – Migration experience required VertiGIS Studio Workflow 5 (VWF5) – Implementation expertise Custom Workflow Development – Business logic migration Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) – Authentication SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) – Report migration & development Payment Gateway Integration (e.g., Moneris) Document Management Systems – Integration experience Permit management systems (ROW permits, banner permits) Asset management (water, sanitary, storm infrastructure) Contractor portals with secure access Incident management & inspection systems Maintenance scheduling (snow clearing, street sweeping) Public-facing land inventory systems Defect logging & tracking systems ADFS Integration – Enterprise authentication Role-Based Access Control – Multi-level security Secure Portal Development – Public / internal differentiation Legacy system migration – Large-scale GIS migrations Data migration – Spatial & attribute data conversion Workflow translation – GWF4 → VWF5 API modernization – JavaScript 3.x → 4.x Template development – Reusable frameworks Migration of 15+ enterprise GIS apps in a single project Geocortex → VertiGIS Studio migration projects Municipal / government GIS implementations Utility industry asset management systems Complex workflow migration (50+ custom workflows) Third-party services integration Database synchronization Email notification systems File / document retrieval systems Reporting system migration Payment processing integration ESRI ArcGIS JavaScript API 4.x VertiGIS Studio Developer Tools Visual Studio / .NET Development SQL Server Management Studio Git Version Control ESRI ArcGIS Pro 8+ years enterprise GIS development 3+ years Geocortex → VertiGIS migration experience Proven JavaScript API 3.x → 4.x migrations Enterprise project leadership experience Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, or equivalent Applications include : Banner Management (permit workflows, approvals) ROW Permits (payment integration, validation) Contractor Mapping (secure access, document retrieval) Community Services (property searches, reporting) Defect Log Management (asset tracking, workflows) Water / Sanitary / Storm Management (incidents, valve tracking) Snow / Street Operations (routing, scheduling) Land Inventory (public portal, hold management) Maintain functional equivalency with Geocortex Essentials 4.15 Preserve security standards (ADFS, access control) Maintain SSRS integration & reporting Ensure Utility Network readiness (2026 migration) Create reusable templates for future apps ESRI JavaScript API Developer Certification VertiGIS Studio Developer Certification Microsoft .NET Certifications Duration : 11–12 months Start Date : Immediate Methodology : Agile (staged migrations) Portfolio of similar migration projects with before / after examples Technical documentation of previous Geocortex migrations Client references from enterprise GIS migration projects Detailed timeline & methodology for this project
