• Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages, salaries, and benefits to employees according to local regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR, finance, and other departments to gather payroll data, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary changes.
• Review and verify payroll inputs, including timesheets, bonuses, commissions, and deductions, to ensure accuracy and compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and other statutory requirements to relevant authorities in each country.
• Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements in each country and update payroll processes accordingly.
• Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues raised by employees or stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with external payroll service providers, tax advisors, and legal counsel to ensure compliance and address complex payroll matters.
• Maintain payroll records, documentation, and confidentiality of employee information in compliance with data protection laws and company Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, MBA in a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in global payroll processing, preferably in a multinational company or payroll service provider.
• Deep understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements in multiple countries.
• Proficiency in payroll software and systems (e.g. ADP, Workday, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work with large volumes of data accurately.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
