Role Overview :
As a mechanical design engineer, you will be involved in all phases of the new product development life cycle : Designing, Prototyping, Testing, and Manufacturing.
Your everyday activities would include : system / sub-system level discussions, concept development, CAD design, FEA analysis, DFM analysis, prototyping, manufacturing, assembly, testing and production scale-up.

Experience Requirements :
A BTech / MTech degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Design Engineering7 years of experience designing and building mechanical systems, preferably robotic systems
Technical skill Requirements
Strong intuition for relevant math & physicsgeometry, trigonometry, calculuskinematics, dynamics, and material propertiesStrong fundamentals of mechanical engineeringapplied mechanics, strength of materials, component sizing, linkages & mechanisms, DFM, manufacturing methods, GD&T.Strong working knowledge of static and dynamic FEA on any simulation software (Ansys or Abaqus)Good knowledge of vendor ecosystem & offerings, manufacturer ecosystem & capabilities, industry standards etc.Highly proficient with at least one 3D CAD software (preferably Fusion 360)Strong understanding of gear trains – design & manufacturing (preferable)Soft skill Requirements
