Mechanical Engineer -III (VAVE & Cost Optimization)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer III to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in leading the qualification of mechanical and electromechanical components, driving cost optimization initiatives, and implementing value engineering strategies across global manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and qualification of mechanical / electromechanical products across global sites.
• Drive strategic cost analysis, benchmarking, and VAVE (Value Analysis & Value Engineering) initiatives.
• Conduct teardown analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis and finalize annualized savings for projects.
• Ensure product quality and performance while implementing cost-out strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, quality, service, and global R&D teams.
• Mentor and support technical growth within the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with global engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage projects with a focus on quality, cost, schedule, and risk mitigation.
