Role Description
- VP is responsible for upholding the profitability and values of an organization by leading business operations. Their duties include consulting with senior leadership personnel to determine business goals or initiatives, visiting with Directors or Department Managers to relay information about company needs and reviewing operational data to make inferences about their organization's success.
- VP should have command on the business domain and should be familiar with Investment banking concepts specifically related to German markets / European markets.
Domain knowledge on one or multiple sub-domains is preferred. Major domain areas listed below :

Strategic Planning : Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the bank's overall goals and objectivesPerformance Monitoring : Establish and Deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance, track progress and identify areas for improvementsBAU Deliveries : Ensure excellent business deliveries by monitoring service quality, addressing issues and complaints and implements measures to enhance the overall business qualityProcess Improvement : Identify areas for operational efficiencies through automation, process reengineering and digitization initiativesRisk Management : Assess and mitigate operational risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsTeam Management : Supervise and lead a team of operations Manger and staff, provide guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration and high performanceBudgeting and Cost Control : Develop and mange budgets for operations, monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunitiesTechnology and Systems : Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology systems to support operational processes and ensure data securityRelationship Management : Collaborate with internal Stakeholders such as Senior Management, risk and compliance teams, and other departments to ensure operational alignment and effective communicationRegulatory Compliance : Stay updated on banking regulations, policies and ensure operational processes adhere to all legal and regulatory requirementsBusiness Continuity Planning : Develop, Follow, and implement plans to mitigate Operational disruptions and ensure business continuity in the event of crisesReporting and Analytics : Monitor operational metrics, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights to Senior Management regularly for informed Decision MakingTransitions & Transformations : Manage the Operational impact of Organizational changes for all market driven and client driven changes. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in Commerce is preferred.Master' degree in Commerce or business administration from reputed institute would be an added advantage.German Language certification from premier Institute (Preferred)15+ years of overall experience7-8 years of leadership experienceExperience working with international clients preferably with Banking captive or 3rd party organizations.Other Qualifications
