About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Head – Silver to lead and grow our silver business vertical. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in retail jewellery sales, an in-depth understanding of the silver segment, and proven leadership skills to drive revenue, profitability, and brand presence across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy for the silver vertical across all retail formats and geographies.
  • Achieve revenue and margin targets through structured business plans, product strategies, and channel development.
  • Identify new market opportunities, retail formats, and consumer trends to expand the silver category.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure alignment of business objectives.
  • Drive store-level performance, ensuring consistent customer experience and adherence to brand standards.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team across clusters / regions.
  • Analyse sales data, inventory trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Participate in product planning, launches, exhibitions, and promotional events to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Establish strong relationships with key customers, franchise partners, and internal stakeholders.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of Silver Jewellery market dynamics.
  • Proven track record in retail sales leadership, preferably in Gems & Jewellery.
  • Excellent team management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute category growth strategies effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in sales forecasting, MIS, and performance tracking.
  • Flexible to travel across regions for business expansion and monitoring.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the Silver or Jewellery retail sector.
  • Exposure to both franchise and company-owned retail models will be preferred.
