Job descriptionWindows admin (DR, cluster failover) Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) Incident / change management (ServiceNow) Troubleshooting across DB, OS, and network layers Ensure high availability and reliability of services running on Azure cloud infrastructure, including performance tuning and cost optimization. Manage and maintain MS SQL Server environments perform backup / restore operations, log shipping, and data import / export tasks. Monitor and manage system health using proactive incident and change management practices (ServiceNow or equivalent). Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across database, operating system, and network layers. Support Windows administration activities including disaster recovery setups, cluster failover, and system patching. Develop and maintain basic automation and scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline operations and reduce manual effort. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support CI / CD and deployment activities beyond pipeline configuration. Participate in on-call rotation for production support and escalate critical issues as needed. Document systems, processes, and runbooks for effective knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
