Brief Job Description
No Fluff seeks an SEO Executive to support and execute our growing search engine optimisation and marketing initiatives. In this role, you'll optimise websites, improve search rankings, deliver on key outcomes like leads and sales, and manage reporting. You'll also contribute to enhancing the brand's visibility across major search engines, including Google, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms like ChatGPT.
This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Mumbai office.
What You Will Be Doing
The Big Picture Stuff :
- Create and support the implementation of SEO strategies across content, keywords, and technical areas.
- Help optimise and maintain client websites (WordPress, Shopify, Framer, and other CMS / e-commerce platforms) with on-page best practices.
- Monitor and analyse SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Identify optimisation opportunities based on performance data and SEO audits.
- Coordinate with developers and content teams to implement required SEO improvements.
The Day-to-Day Magic :
Conduct keyword research and suggest content improvements aligned with the strategy.Update website content and metadata to improve rankings and visibility.Assist in link-building efforts and outreach coordination.Set up and maintain tracking tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.Support the creation of content clusters or verticals that align with search intent.Troubleshoot basic technical SEO issues (broken links, redirects, page speed).Document and report SEO activities, keyword plans, and platform configurations for internal use.Requirements
Technical Skills :
2–3 years of hands-on experience with SEO execution (agency or brand side).Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, and basic HTML / CSS for on-page edits.Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs.Exposure to optimising or managing Google Merchant Centre listings is a plus.Understanding of ranking factors, technical SEO, and algorithm updates.Basic knowledge of Facebook Pixel and website tracking integrations.Soft Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Clear communicator who can explain SEO goals and results to non-technical stakeholders.Eagerness to learn, experiment, and stay current with SEO and SEM trends.
