Role : Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant
Location : Pune (On-Site, Full-Time)
Role Description :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud. The consultant will play a critical role in stabilizing post-go-live operations, resolving complex functional issues, optimizing financial processes, and providing continuous improvements. This role demands a deep understanding of financial business processes, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Post-Implementation Support & Troubleshooting :
- Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, Cost Accounting).
- Resolve transactional, integration, and configuration issues across P2P (Procure-to-Pay), O2C (Order-to-Cash), and R2R (Record-to-Report) cycles.
- Support multi-currency, multi-ledger, and multi-entity accounting processes.
- Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Troubleshoot workflow approvals, journal entries, tax calculations, payment processing, and accounting configurations.
2. System Stabilization & Enhancements :
Monitor and optimize system configurations for improved performance and accuracy.Develop and maintain custom reports using OTBI, BI Publisher (BIP), Smart View, and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).Validate and test system updates, quarterly patches, and new feature rollouts to ensure minimal business disruption.Identify process gaps and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and compliance.3. User Training & Documentation :
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for finance users and business stakeholders.Create SOPs, training manuals, and process documentation for Oracle Fusion modules.Provide advisory support for finance teams to adopt best practices within Fusion Financials.4. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement :
Liaise with Oracle Support (SR management) for resolution of critical issues.Work with cross-functional teams (Procurement, SCM, Projects) to ensure seamless integration.Provide functional input for integration design with OIC, Web Services, FBDI, and ADFDI templates.Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, Tax, and regulatory standards.Key Skills & Qualifications :
Mandatory :
5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financials (implementation & support).In-depth expertise in GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, and Cost Accounting.Strong understanding of P2P, O2C, and R2R cycles.Experience in multi-currency, multi-ledger, and multi-entity environments.Hands-on expertise in custom reporting (OTBI, BIP, Smart View, FRS).Solid grasp of functional setups, configurations, and security roles within Oracle Fusion.Preferred :
Experience with post-go-live support and stabilization in Oracle Cloud ERP.Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Web Services, FBDI, ADFDI for data migrations and integrations.Exposure to Revenue Recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), Lease Accounting (IFRS 16), and IFRS / GAAP compliance.Certification in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud.Experience in system upgrades, quarterly patch testing, and change management.(ref : hirist.tech)
