Job description

Profile : Cybersecurity Engineer

Experience : 2-5 years (Mid Level)

Notice Period : Immediate Joiner or 15-20 days

Locations : Gurgaon

Roles & Responsibilities Architecture & Design :

  • Design and implement secure network solutions to defend against hackers, malware, and data breaches.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and best practices.

    • Threat Detection & Response :

  • Monitor systems for suspicious activity and respond to incidents.
  • Investigate and analyze security breaches to determine root causes and mitigation strategies.

    • Vulnerability Management :

  • Regularly perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Patch and update systems to close security gaps.

    • Security Tools Management :

  • Deploy and maintain security tools like firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and SIEM platforms.
  • Tune tools to detect relevant threats and minimize false positives.

    • Incident Handling :

  • Develop and maintain incident response plans.
  • Lead or support incident response efforts during security events.

    • Compliance & Risk Management :

  • Ensure systems meet regulatory and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
  • Participate in risk assessments and audit processes.

    • Collaboration & Training :

  • Work with IT, DevOps, and other teams to integrate security into systems and processes.
  • Provide security awareness training to employees.

    • Documentation & Reporting :

  • Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Generate security metrics and reports for management.
