Bid Manager

Are you a proactive and efficient problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for driving growth? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a (global) Bid Manager at Plat4Mation.

We are in search of an experienced Bid Manager to further professionalize our Global Bid Office. This strategic role involves leading and coordinating end-to-end bid cycles to ensure the development of high-quality, competitive proposals that align with client requirements and company objectives. The ideal applicant brings experience from working within leading consulting firms and the IT industry, and has a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.

As our Bid Manager, you will be responsible for further professionalizing bid management within Plat4mation. This includes refining and implementing robust bid management methodologies, enhancing our knowledge, tools and systems for bid development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic insight. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our bids not only meet but exceed the expectations of our clients, thereby securing new business and reinforcing our position as a leader in the ServiceNow ecosystem.

What will you do?

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Plat4mation's capabilities, services, and strategic goals to effectively align bid strategies with the company's vision.
  • Lead cross-functional bid teams, providing clear direction and motivation to ensure deadlines are met and submissions are of the highest quality. This includes coordinating the efforts of subject matter experts, sales teams, legal, and marketing to produce cohesive and persuasive bid documents.
  • Implement a structured bid management process that encompasses opportunity assessment, bid / no-bid decisions, bid planning, resource allocation, risk management, and a thorough review cycle. This process should ensure efficient and effective management of all bid activities and resources.
  • Ensure excellence in bid presentation and documentation, including the development of engaging executive summaries, clear and concise proposals, and compelling presentations that effectively communicate Plat4mation's value proposition.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and partners during the bid process, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring that all communications reflect the company's values and professionalism.
  • Conduct detailed post-bid evaluations, gathering feedback from both internal teams and clients to identify areas for improvement, celebrate successes, and integrate lessons learned into future bids.
  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of bid management tools, databases, and content libraries to streamline the bid process and enhance the quality of submissions.
  • Advocate for and implement training and development initiatives to build bid management capabilities across the organization, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to contribute effectively to the bid process.

We ask

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in bid management, preferably within a large management consulting firm and the IT industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex bids and achieving a high win rate.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess opportunities and develop effective bid strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered an asset.
  • The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
