Job Purpose

The role objective of Associate - Decarbonisation is to support the investment team across the full deal lifecycle for the Decarbonisation Fund within the Private Equity vertical. The role involves conducting financial analysis, sector research, due diligence coordination, investment memo preparation, and portfolio monitoring. The Associate will play a key role in translating decarbonisation sector trends into actionable investment insights and ensuring smooth execution of transactions and portfolio value creation initiatives.

Main Accountabilities

• . Transaction Support : Assist in all phases of the investment process including deal screening, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and preparation of investment materials.
• . Industry & Company Research : Conduct detailed research and analysis on decarbonisation-linked sectors, competitive landscapes, business models, and market dynamics.
• . Financial Modeling : Build and maintain financial models to evaluate potential investments and perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
• . Due Diligence Coordination : Support due diligence across legal, technical, financial, and commercial workstreams coordinate with internal teams and external advisors.
• . Investment Memoranda : Draft and refine investment committee documents, presentations, and internal reports with clear articulation of business case, risks, and returns.
• . Portfolio Monitoring : Track key metrics across portfolio companies, analyze quarterly performance, and update internal valuation models and dashboards.
• . Process Management : Maintain data rooms, project timelines, and documentation through the deal lifecycle to ensure compliance and smooth handoffs.
• . Stakeholder Interaction : Liaise with promoters, consultants, and internal teams on data collection, diligence, and portfolio analysis.
• . Knowledge Management : Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing on sector trends, valuation benchmarks, and transaction best practices.
• . Investment Committee Readiness : Ensure all supporting materials, financials, and diligence summaries are accurate and up-to-date for investment committee decision-making.

Qualification : : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field MBA and / or CFA preferred
