Civil Engineer | Port Infrastructure

Role & Responsibilities :

Create and review designs for maritime structures (piers, wharves, breakwaters, jetties) and related site infrastructure (roadways, utilities).

Conduct site surveys, soil investigations, and collect data to inform designs.

Produce design calculations, technical specifications, and detailed drawings using CAD software.

Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources; manage construction activities and resolve technical issues.

Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines (geotechnical, structural, electrical).

Ensure designs and projects comply with relevant local regulations, international standards, and best practices.

Identify potential project risks and implement measures to mitigate them.

Prepare engineering reports, study reports, and presentations for stakeholders.

Candidate Profile :

Expertise in marine engineering, coastal engineering, and structural analysis.

Familiarity with factors affecting the marine environment, such as wave patterns, tides, and sediment transport.

Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and modeling software.

Strong technical and commercial acumen for project profitability and timely delivery.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
