Database Administrator

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL, and proven experience in database migrations to AWS (RDS / EC2). The ideal candidate will work closely with our core migration team to support ongoing Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL and Dynamo DB migration activities.

Job Duration : 2.5 Month (Extendable up to 6 month)

Key Responsibilities :

• Define the migration strategies well suited for the business.
• Assist in planning and executing migration of Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases to AWS (RDS / EC2).
• Perform database assessments and identify compatibility or performance issues before migration.
• Configure and optimize AWS database services including RDS, EC2, and related tools.
• Develop and validate migration scripts and test plans.
• Support data validation, replication, and cutover planning.
• SSIS and SSRS migrations
• Implement best practices for database security, monitoring, and backups post-migration
