Backend Engineering Role

We are looking for a skilled Elixir Developer

to build scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems using

OTP, Phoenix, and Ecto . If you enjoy solving complex distributed-system challenges and thrive in high-ownership environments, this opportunity is for you.

Joining :

Experience Expected :

5+ years total (with 3+ years Elixir OR 5+ years backend + 1–2 years Elixir)

Engagement Type :

Contract (6 months) or Full-Time — both acceptable

Budget : Based on experience

Role Overview

You will design APIs, build resilient backend components, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years

Elixir

experience (or 5+ years backend with 1–2 years Elixir)

Strong expertise in OTP, Phoenix, Ecto, PostgreSQL

Hands-on

experience with

testing frameworks, Git, containerization

Understanding of distributed systems & concurrency

Excellent communication skills and strong ownership mindset

Nice-to-Have

Experience with

LiveView, Oban, Redis, Kafka / NATS

Familiarity with

Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana

Open-source contributions
