Job Title : Product Sales Head - ERP
Location : Ahmedabad Head office
Experience : 10+ years in ERP product sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Job Summary :
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Head of IT Product Sales to lead our sales efforts for our IT product portfolio. The role requires strong leadership, in-depth technical understanding, and proven experience in scaling B2B / B2C product sales. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and positioning the company as a market leader.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Execution :
- Define and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy for IT products.
- Set sales targets and oversee the implementation of plans to meet or exceed them.
- Build and optimize sales funnels to increase conversion and revenue.
Team Leadership :
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performance sales team.Define KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews.Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.Customer Engagement & Deal Management :
Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and decision-makers.Lead strategic sales engagements and contract negotiations.Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and product teams to deliver customized solutions.Market Intelligence & Product Feedback :
Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts.Provide regular insights to product and marketing teams to guide roadmap and messaging.Represent the customer voice internally to align product offerings with market needs.Channel & Partner Ecosystem :
Identify and manage partnerships, resellers, and strategic alliances.Develop and manage indirect sales channels as appropriate.Revenue Forecasting & Reporting :
Own the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting using CRM tools.Present sales performance, risks, and growth plans to executive leadership.Key Requirements :
10+ years of experience in IT product or enterprise software sales.Proven experience in leading and scaling sales teams (preferably in SaaS, cloud, or B2B tech).Strong understanding of sales processes, value selling, and solution positioning.Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.Experience working across different geographies or industry verticals is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science; MBA is a plus.(ref : iimjobs.com)
