Job Title - Technical Manager - Electrical

Experience : 12-20 years

Key Responsibilities :

• Strong understanding of rail vehicle electrical architecture with subsystem interactions for deriving functional and wiring schematics.
• Ensure design compliance with rail industry standards , safety regulations, and customer specifications. Possess strong knowledge of railway standards (IEC / EN) and associated engineering procedures.
• Lead and manage the Schematics and CATIA EHI team , ensuring high-quality deliverables across multiple rail vehicle projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams including S&A designers, mechanical designers, electrical routing designers, and advanced industrialization engineers .
• Oversee the design and validation of electrical schematics and 3D harness routing using CATIA V5 / V6 and EHI tools.
• Review and approve technical documentation , change requests , and cost optimization proposals.
• Coordinate with suppliers for prototype development , ensuring alignment with design specifications and project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, systems, and software engineering to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems .
• Drive project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and milestone tracking.
• Provide technical mentorship and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Demonstrate a leadership mindset with strong accountability, ownership, and adaptability in cross-functional environments.
• Manage engineering changes through change management systems and processes .
