Director of Strategic Sourcing

Role Summary :

Head of Sourcing & Development will lead and oversee the complete supplier ecosystem for the electric traction motor & It’s controller sourcing including development. This role will be responsible for developing a robust vendor base, ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability for all business units of Motor & Controllers. The position involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, supply chain risk management, cost optimization, and supplier capability enhancement aligned with business growth and localization goals.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Vendor Development

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure availability of quality parts at optimal cost.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives to reduce import dependency and total cost of ownership.
• Geo political supply chain risk management.
