Mandatory Skills : MS SQL Server (Development, Administration, and Performance Tuning)

Role Overview :

  • We are seeking an experienced MS SQL Server Developer responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing databases that power critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving mindset, and hands-on experience managing complex database systems in production environments.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases as per project specifications.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain unit tests for SQL database programs.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, capacity, and replication issues.
  • Design and implement data models and translate them into efficient physical structures.
  • Manage database installation, configuration, and software maintenance.
  • Ensure robust backup, recovery, and data security mechanisms.
  • Develop and maintain database scripts, procedures, and triggers for development teams.
  • Manage and coordinate database changes across Development, QA, and Production environments.
  • Define and enforce database standards, best practices, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor databases for errors, perform proactive performance tuning, and ensure system stability.
  • Design and implement highly available, scalable production database systems.
  • Configure database network connectivity and ensure smooth integration with applications.
  • Document all work clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in a team setting.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with MS SQL Server (2016 or later).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of backup strategies, recovery procedures, and replication techniques.
