Video Ad Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a Video Ad Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for turning gameplay footage into compelling ads that resonate with players worldwide. You will work closely with production and client-facing teams, using our proprietary BLKBOX platform to deliver performance-driven ads tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive gameplay recordings from the capture team and prepare them for ad creation.
• Collaborate with production and strategy teams to develop impactful ads that meet both creative and performance benchmarks.
• Review and dissect client briefs to develop ad strategies and creative directions.
• Collaborate with the production department to ensure ads meet creative and performance goals.
• Keep up-to-date with gaming trends, competitor ads, and market best practices.
• Ensure ad content aligns with game monetization strategies and audience engagement goals.

Requirements

• Knowledge of trending games, genres, and competitor ecosystems.
• Knowledge of game monetization models, player behavior, and in-game features.
• Knowledge of creative production processes, from ideation to delivery.
• Experience in game development.
• Knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client needs into creative output.
• A passion for gaming and storytelling through video content.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with video ad formats, storytelling, and performance-driven creative frameworks.
