Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Managing Director (MD / CEO) to lead the organization’s business transformation and operational excellence journey. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in scaling complex mobility / logistics / transport businesses, driving P&L growth, building high-performing teams, and introducing innovative solutions in a dynamic ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Growth
Lead overall strategic direction and operational excellence across functions.
Build and mentor a high-performance leadership team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Spearhead expansion across geographies and service verticals.
Represent the organization with government, regulators, industry bodies, and strategic partners.
2. Commercial Operations & Technology Enablement
Drive end-to-end operations : fleet, sourcing, supply chain, safety, finance, HR, and administration.
Develop business plans for cost optimization, scalability, and service excellence.
Build technology partnerships to enable large-scale digital transformation.
Champion a zero-accident, safety-first culture with compliance at the core.
3. P&L and Financial Management
Take full ownership of business P&L, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for EBITDA-positive performance.
Implement cost efficiency and productivity enhancement models across value streams.
4. Marketing & Brand Building
Oversee digital marketing, customer engagement strategies, and brand visibility campaigns.
Enhance customer experience through service innovation and tech-driven initiatives.
Ensure market growth, fleet readiness, and service delivery excellence.
Candidate Profile
Experience : 20+ years overall, including 5+ years in mobility / ride-hailing / logistics / transportation / automotive.
Education : B.Tech / M.Tech + Full-time MBA / PGDM / Executive MBA.
Leadership : Experience as MD / COO / Business Head / Director with large-scale operations.
Expertise : Launching greenfield operations, P&L management, cost optimization, digital transformation, stakeholder management.
Skills : Strategic thinking, people leadership, regulatory liaison, financial governance, and sustainability orientation.
