Seeking a Managing Director in India who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, strategic direction, and management, including day-to-day activities, implementing business strategies, managing key relationships, and ensuring the achievement of financial and organizational goals, often acting as the public face of the company while reporting to the CEO and board of directors.
Position Responsibilities :
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitive products
- Crafting and implementing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, marketing, and finance, to align regional strategies with corporate goals.
- Drive sales process optimization, mentor and lead the sales team, and cultivate a high-performance and ongoing culture.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, customers, regulators, and the board of directors.
- Act as the company's public spokesperson, attend conferences, and represent the organization at external events.
- Identifying and mitigating potential company operations risks and financial stability risks.
- Ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting within the region.
- Producing detailed sales forecasts and reports to guide business decisions.
- Setting and monitoring performance metrics to ensure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
Position Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related fieldMarket visionary with experience introducing a new company / product / service into markets.Intimate knowledge of utilities, energy, technology and / or smart grid market is desired.Proven leadership experience in a Sales role.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
