Senior Network Security Engineer - Zscaler Technologies

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Senior Engineer with expertise in Checkpoint Firewall and Zscaler technologies (ZPA / ZIA).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network security solutions to protect organizational assets and ensure compliance with security standards.

This role requires a deep understanding of network security protocols, tools, and best practices, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.

Responsibilities :

• Define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals.
• Document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations.
• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, with a focus on Checkpoint Firewall and Zscaler technologies (ZPA / ZIA).
• Configure, monitor, and optimize Checkpoint Firewall policies and rules to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
• Deploy and manage Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) solutions to enhance secure remote access and internet security.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure the integrity of network systems.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure network architecture and configurations.
• Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on emerging security technologies, threats, and industry trends.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e. g., ISO 27001 NIST, GDPR).
