We are seeking a seasoned VP / GM Global Hydro & Met to lead and execute our commercial strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global sales leadership and a proven track record of driving significant business growth. This role requires a leader who can build high-performing teams, maintain a strong process orientation, and develop an intimate knowledge of the market to outperform competitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Leadership : Drive commercial strategies and lead direct and indirect global sales teams. You will be responsible for attracting and developing top talent and holding teams accountable for results.
- Sales Strategy : Implement a value-based selling approach and maintain disciplined funnel management, ideally with experience using Salesforce .
- Customer & Market Insight : Develop an intimate knowledge of customers, competitors, and the market to drive growth at 2-3x the market rate .
- Team Development : Utilize exceptional selling and coaching skills. The role requires frequent customer visits to observe, guide, and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Strategic Execution : Contribute to setting and achieving strategic direction with a proven track record of disciplined execution.
Required Qualifications
Experience : A minimum of 15 years of progressive commercial experience , with at least 8 years in senior sales leadership roles .Skills : Strong process orientation, exceptional selling and coaching skills, and superior written and verbal communication skills.Language : Required language is English. A second language, preferably German, is a plus.Travel : Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% , including international travel.Skills Required
