Job Description & Responsibilities :

The person hired for this position will be part of a team whose objective and responsibility are software development utilizing a DevOps approach for cloud native projects in the Digital Product Center of Excellence. This position’s primary responsibility is to support 3M Divisions and Labs. A deep understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) systems, AWS / Azure, version control systems, CI / CD, and release pipelines is critical.

Experience as full-stack developer, the candidate should be versed with either AWS or Azure (certification in the same will be an added advantage).

Primary contact for 3M teams to assist and resolve CI / CD pipeline issues using internal 3M deployment frameworks

Aids and consultation to other applications groups and work within cross-functional teams

Develops AWS / Azure application using cloud native technologies

Develops monitor, and troubleshoot applications in a cloud environment

Source code control using Git based repositories

Minimum eight (8) years IT professional experience

Minimum five?(5) years Software Development experience

Minimum two?(2) years CICD pipeline experience, writing CI / CD pipelines.

Direct hands on application development experience using CICD pipelines

Direct hands on experience deploying Infrastructure through scripting in a cloud environment

Experience debugging and resolving software issues with a pipeline environment

Expertise in designing software utilizing core AWS / Azure service offerings

Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems and / or Containers

Experience with IaaS tools including CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.

Database exp – SQL and NoSQL - should have experience in both databases or should be comfortable to work on.

BE or B.Tech in computer science or IT. Preference is Engineering education background with IT, CS or equivalent.

Bachelor’s / Master's degree from an accredited university preferred

Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints

Excellent interpersonal, written, and team collaboration skills
