Job Description & Responsibilities :

The person hired for this position will be part of a team whose objective and responsibility are software development utilizing a DevOps approach for cloud native projects in the Digital Product Center of Excellence. This position’s primary responsibility is to support 3M Divisions and Labs. A deep understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) systems, AWS / Azure, version control systems, CI / CD, and release pipelines is critical.

Required Skills :

We need an excellent communicator with strong problem resolution skills who thrives on working in a team environment. In addition, we require :

• Experience as full-stack developer, the candidate should be versed with either AWS or Azure (certification in the same will be an added advantage).
• Primary contact for 3M teams to assist and resolve CI / CD pipeline issues using internal 3M deployment frameworks
• Aids and consultation to other applications groups and work within cross-functional teams
• Develops AWS / Azure application using cloud native technologies
• Develops monitor, and troubleshoot applications in a cloud environment
• Source code control using Git based repositories
• Minimum eight (8) years IT professional experience
• Minimum five?(5) years Software Development experience
• Minimum two?(2) years CICD pipeline experience, writing CI / CD pipelines.
• Direct hands on application development experience using CICD pipelines
• Direct hands on experience deploying Infrastructure through scripting in a cloud environment
• Experience debugging and resolving software issues with a pipeline environment
• Expertise in designing software utilizing core AWS / Azure service offerings
• Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems and / or Containers
• Experience with IaaS tools including CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.
• Database exp – SQL and NoSQL - should have experience in both databases or should be comfortable to work on.
• BE or B.Tech in computer science or IT. Preference is Engineering education background with IT, CS or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s / Master's degree from an accredited university preferred
• Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints
