Job Overview
Spandana Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a full-time junior position requiring a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years of work experience. The role entails delivering quality patient care and ensuring all prescribed treatments are administered efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills
- Patient Care (Mandatory skill) : Ability to provide compassionate and effective care to all patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Medication Administration (Mandatory skill) : Proficiency in administering medications accurately and responsibly as per physician orders.
- IV Therapy (Mandatory skill) : Skilled in initiating and managing IV therapy, ensuring proper handling and monitoring of IV sites.
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) : Competence in updating and maintaining accurate patient records using EHR systems.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) : Certified in BLS, with the ability to perform emergency procedures when necessary.
- Telemetry : Experience in monitoring and interpreting telemetry data to track patient cardiovascular status.
- Wound Care : Expertise in assessing and managing wounds, ensuring appropriate cleaning, dressing, and healing process.
- Infection Control : Knowledgeable in implementing infection control protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections and ensure patient safety.
Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions, reporting any changes to the medical team promptly.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following hospital protocols and standards.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting progress and care provided.Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans based on individual patient needs.Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, ensuring they understand treatment plans.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve nursing skills and stay updated with medical best practices.Ensure the highest standards of infection prevention and control are maintained at all times within the healthcare setting.
