Employment Type : Full-time / Rotational Shifts

Job Summary :

The Staff Nurse in ICU / NICU is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients or neonates. This role demands clinical expertise, emotional resilience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities :

ICU :

  • Monitor and manage patients with life-threatening conditions.
  • Administer medications, IV infusions, and ventilator support.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and perform CPR or other life-saving procedures.

NICU :

  • Provide specialized care to premature or critically ill newborns.
  • Operate neonatal equipment (incubators, ventilators, monitors).
  • Support feeding (breastfeeding, tube feeding) and hygiene needs.
  • Educate and counsel parents on neonatal care and progress.
  • Monitor vital signs and developmental milestones.

    • Qualifications :

  • B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Valid Nursing Council Registration (e.g., INC or State Council).
  • ICU / NICU training or certification preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in the ICU or NICU is required

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in emergency response and critical care protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to handle emotional situations.
  • Familiarity with hospital software and electronic health records (EHR).
