Position : Senior MEP BIM Technician (6–12 Years of Experience)

Location : Ahmedabad

Industry : AECO / Heavy Infrastructure

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP BIM Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP and process piping BIM modeling, particularly using Revit and Plant 3D , with a proven ability to deliver high-quality drawings and models within specified timelines. This role involves working closely with internal teams and international clients, contributing to technically complex projects in the process, manufacturing, and heavy engineering sectors .

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage modeling tasks with a clear understanding of project procedures and requirements.
Produce accurate and high-quality BIM models and drawings in line with client expectations and agreed deadlines.
Communicate confidently and professionally with clients, including international counterparts.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently.
Attend coordination and technical review meetings with project leads and engineers.
Lead and support BIM execution, model management, and quality control processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant piping codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Technical Expertise Required

Expert-level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Capability to generate detailed drawings from limited engineering input.

Solid understanding of MEPF systems and Support Engineering.

Experience with Dynamo scripting and COBie data workflows is necessary.

Knowledge of Bentley OpenPlant Modeler (OPM) or Civil 3D is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

6 to 12 years of hands-on experience in BIM for MEP.

B.tech / B.E - Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering 8 - 12 years of relevant work exp.

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset.
