Role Summary / Purpose
Suntar is looking for a highly driven individual equipped with relevant technical skills in playing a critical role in the planning, execution, and management of projects. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that a project is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design specifications, timelines, and regulations. Site engineers typically work on sites rather than in an office and serve as the link between technical design and actual projects.
Responsibilities
- Managing site activities, coordinating teams, and ensuring work follows plans.
- Interpreting drawings, resolving on-site technical issues.
- Ensuring materials and work meet quality standards.
- Enforcing health and safety regulations.
- Allocating materials, labor, and equipment.
- Keeping records of site activities and reporting to managers.
- Monitoring budgets and minimizing waste.
- Run and troubleshoot systems at the site.
- Find and fix basic technical problems.
- Tracking on system performance.
- Handle on-site technical issues quickly to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental or Chemical Engineering preferred)Having experience min. 3 years as site project engineer with complete site project execution for water treatment or membrane based separation processExcellent in project managementStellar written and oral communication skillsResponsible, independent and proactive individual yet able to work well in a teamInnovative in problem-solvingFluency in EnglishSkills Required
