Job Summary :
IPL Biologicals, a key player in the agricultural biologicals space focused on sustainable and environment-friendly bio-inputs (biofertilizers, biofungicides, etc.), is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join as an Assistant Manager - International Taxation. This crucial finance role is responsible for ensuring complete compliance with global tax regulations, managing transfer pricing, and handling statutory compliance for the company's foreign investments and international holding company (IHC) structures.
Key Taxation and Compliance :
- Lead the technical preparation and verification of comprehensive documents for Overseas Direct Investment (ODI) from India and the International Holding Company (IHC) perspective.
- Prepare and verify the Statutory and International Taxation compliance sheet for all foreign investments and entities, ensuring timely and accurate filing.
- Analyze and interpret the tax implications of all cross-border transactions to ensure adherence to global tax laws and minimize risk.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulations under FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) and other statutory compliance requirements related to foreign subsidies and investments.
Transfer Pricing and Reporting :
Manage all aspects of Transfer Pricing documentation, analysis, and compliance for inter-company transactions in line with arm's length principles.Handle the complete cycle of Reporting requirements for foreign entities, including the discussion, arrangement, and in-depth analysis of Financial Reporting, MIS (Management Information Systems), and Tax Returns of foreign entities.Ensure adherence to Global tax accounting principles (e.g., IFRS / US GAAP / Ind AS requirements related to tax provision).Costing and Internal Control :
Ensure the accuracy of product costing / Bill of Material (BOM) / Raw material consumption data, including support for or adherence to cost audit requirements.Conduct periodic reviews of stock at Carrying & Forwarding (C&F) agents and plants to ensure inventory accuracy and proper valuation.Perform verification and authorization of voucher entries in the ERP system to maintain robust internal financial Mandatory qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA).Experience : Relevant post-qualification experience in International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, and global compliance.
Preferred Skills :
Technical Expertise : Deep technical knowledge of Indian Income Tax Act provisions relating to non-residents, DTAA (Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements), and tax treaty interpretations.
FEMA : Strong working knowledge of FEMA regulations concerning Outbound Investments (ODI).
ERP Proficiency : Hands-on experience working with a major ERP system (SAP, Oracle) for financial and cost data analysis.
Industry Context : Experience or strong interest in the Agriculture, Biologicals, or Manufacturing sector.
