Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer with 6 years of expertise in data visualization and analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to help our organization make data-driven decisions effectively. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate complex business requirements into compelling visual insights.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and optimize interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.

Connect and integrate Tableau with various data sources, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timely refreshes.

Perform data cleansing, transformation, and preparation to enhance reporting quality.

Optimize Tableau workbooks and server performance for efficient loading and responsiveness.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical dashboard solutions.

Manage Tableau Server, including user access, permissions, scheduling data refreshes, and monitoring system performance.

Provide end-user training and support to maximize the value of Tableau reports.

Maintain thorough documentation of dashboard designs, data sources, and development processes.

Stay updated with the latest Tableau tools and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and standards in reporting and visualization.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or related field.

6 years of professional experience in Tableau development and data visualization.

Proficiency with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.

Strong skills in SQL for querying and data manipulation.

Experience in designing effective data models and dashboard layouts.

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI best practices.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to optimize dashboard performance and handle large datasets.

Knowledge of data security and governance in BI environments.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with other BI tools like Power BI or QlikView.

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis.

Certification in Tableau Desktop Specialist or other relevant Tableau certifications.
