Job descriptionSupport routine material requests from warehouse. Oversee work orders and actively work to identify problems when issuing material to avoid Manage obsolescence / disposition / destruction (MRB) process. Support daily inventory analysis / reporting using data from multiple sources (Warehouse, Monitor aging Inventory and aging work orders. Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics related to inventory and operations. Advance knowledge of general accounting (journal entries, account reconciliations) as this position Support with SOX controls and other aspects related to controls and audit requests. Ability to think outside-the-box when it comes to problem solving, development of analytics. Computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. Communication skills, problem-solving skills, collaborative, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent internal and external customer focus. Basic knowledge of cost accounting as this role will have collaboration / cross function with Cost
Role & responsibilities
May include but not limited to :
- Manufacturing Variance , PPV, cost revaluation. (Calculations, review, analysis)
- JDE cost and item-set up.
- Support of Excess and Obsolescence inventory calculations.
- Support of LCM (Lower of Cost or Market) inventory valuation.
- Month-End Close collaboration with cross functional teams to research / resolve inventory related
issues / requests to ensure inventory is accurate and reliable.
