Azure Data Manager - SQL / Synapse Analytics

Description : About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Manager with deep expertise in SQL and Azure Synapse Analytics to lead data architecture, integration, and analytics initiatives on the Microsoft Azure platform.

This role is critical to the success of our cloud data strategy and will play a central part in building scalable, high-performance data solutions that drive business intelligence and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure Data Services.
• Develop and manage robust data pipelines and ETL / ELT processes using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines.
• Oversee data modeling, data warehousing, and performance optimization of large-scale distributed systems.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices using Azure services (e.g., Azure Purview, RBAC, Data Masking, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Monitor and manage data integration workflows and ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior data engineers and analysts on Azure best practices.
• Drive innovation in data architecture, optimizing costs, and leveraging new features in the Azure ecosystem.
