General Description
Achieve the Sales / Trading Target of the Oilseeds and Maize Commodities through creation of Action Plans, Interfacing with Internal / External Organisations, Business Development, generating market intelligence, research, capturing arbitrages in supply chains (procurement, warehouse, logistics etc.), executing the trading plan, customer relationship management, capability building of Staff & extended Organisation, providing error free Reports and documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities : -
- Responsible for trading of Oilseeds & maize profitably in domestic and export market with complying industry regulations & company policies.
- Ensure translation of annual plans for P&L and annual sale requirement through customer backward approach
- Develop and Implement risk management strategies to protect company's trading positions
- Track customer and Competitor activities and Industry trends in crushing and feed industry to comprehend Supply and Demand dynamics and converting them into opportunities
- Contribute to development of potential customer base and growth of existing customer relationships
- Coordination between Channel execution team for smooth execution of purchase and Sale contracts
- Ensure proper documentation of Sales & Trading related Data and Reports as required by the Business -sale trackers, market reports, risk mitigation reports & Long-Short reports etc
Requirements
Educational Qualification Required
Reputed Agri sourcing and procurement organisations in similar spacePreferably from premier Agri Institutes like IRMA, MANAGE, SIIB, XIMB, NIAM etc.Skills Required
Analytical and quantitative skillsNegotiation and Communication abilitiesKnowledge of Supply Chain ManagementEfficient decision making and problem solving abilitiesExperience Required
2-6 years of experience in Trading and Sourcing desk in reputed Agri procurement companySkills Required
