About the role
This is a role in Flipkart's corporate development team focusing on Strategic Partnerships. The person will be reporting to the head of strategic partnerships, driving key partnerships for the Flipkart group. The role will involve interfacing with Flipkart leadership to understand strategic priorities, create a pipeline of opportunities to meet the priorities, reach out to relevant partners, come up with partnership constructs, work closely with internal and external stakeholders to finalise construct, negotiate and execute partnerships. The role also involved thinking through new business opportunities for the Flipkart Group and creating zero to one journeys to launch new verticals / businesses.
About the team
The strategic partnerships team looks at driving important partnerships for the Flipkart Group (across Flipkart, Myntra, Cleartrip, Shopsy) focused on achieving Flipkart's strategic objectives. These partnerships pan across tech, supply chain, marketing, loyalty as well as new business initiatives.
- Strategic Partnerships :
- Track market and competitive landscapes to identify potential partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior Flipkart stakeholders to align partnership goals with the Flipkart group's strategic objectives.
- Identify and connect with potential partners.
- Develop and negotiate mutually beneficial partnership constructs.
- Execute partnerships with cross-functional teams
- Maintain relationships with existing partners, 'farming' to come up with new opportunities
- New Business initiatives and thought leadership :
- Identify new business opportunities for Flipkart which align with the strategic objectives of the company
- Conduct detailed primary and secondary research to form a POV on the space (competitive landscape, opportunity sizing, GTM, P&L, etc.)
- Work with business teams for zero to one journey to launch
